Eligibility
To become a voting member, you must be a Minority-owned entity directly or indirectly engaged in the building industry.
Benefits
With the construction boom currently underway in our region, NAMC-UM serves as a catalyst to ensure that local minority businesses actively participate and benefit from construction activities.
As a Voting Member, you will receive advanced notice of business opportunities; technical assistance with training, business development and certification; and access to critical business services (i.e., bonding, insurance, financing, marketing, discounts, etc.)
Our comprehensive calendar of events, networking sessions and public forums provide you with relevant, up-to-date information to increase your productivity, develop your management skills and provide procurement opportunities to grow your business.
Specific benefits include:
- Assistance with certification of your company
- Information on contracting and procurement opportunities
- Referrals to corporations, industry professionals, federal, state and local government entities based on your capability and capacity to provide quality goods and services at competitive prices
- Access to industry-specific marketing information
- Training programs, seminars and one-on-one technical assistance designed to develop, build and expand the capacity of your business
- Direct access to Affiliate Members and Government and Agency Partners through conferences, networking sessions and other public forums to increase your exposure to business opportunities
- Listing in the NAMC-UM Directory
- Technical assistance in securing access to capital, bonding, credit services and other financial tools and resources necessary for your success
- Opportunity to serve on the NAMC-UM Board and run for Office
Levels
NAMC-UM has three levels of voting memberships based upon gross revenues:

| Large | Gross Revenue $5,000,000 and up | $1,600 |
| Intermediate | Gross Revenues $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 | $800 |
| Small | Gross Revenue less than $1,000,000 | $400 |
